Volunteer with World Vision

World Vision volunteers come from all walks of life – from professionals who want to contribute their skills and expertise, to teenagers who want to do something meaningful in their free time, to retirees with a passion to help change lives.

With almost 4000 volunteers nationwide, World Vision is one of the largest mobilisers of volunteers in Australia.

Our volunteers give valuable support to many programs, contributing their time, talent and energy to help change the lives of children and families living in poverty.

World Vision Australia wishes to warn supporters about a possible scam in which people are being encouraged to travel to Nigeria to work in a World Vision orphanage. World Vision has no association whatsoever with this offer. We do not do any aid or development work in Nigeria and indeed do not operate any orphanages in Nigeria, or any other country.

Anyone who receives such a request should ignore it or where appropriate report the matter to the Australian Federal Police and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
